The current wave of anti-incumbent sentiment is growing, and the voice of the people will most certainly be heard loud and clear in the upcoming elections. People are simply fed up with elected officials who fail to do the job they were entrusted to do. Rest assured, the days of politicians putting their own self-interests above those of their constituents will soon be over.
As a long time ward resident, homeowner and veteran Chicago Police Lieutenant, I’ve regularly seen the negative impact self-serving politicians have on our community. Rather than represent our best interests, they too often become consumed with power and greed. As a result, we the community suffer while their friends and family prosper. This has to change!
Like you, I am tired of paying ridiculously high taxes for poor city services. I am tired of watching our elected representatives put their own interests before those of the community they were elected to serve, and I am tired of seeing our police and fire resources depleted due to the continued mismanagement of our hard earned tax dollars. For this to continue is intolerable! It does not have to be this way, and with your help I will ensure that things change.
In light of the above, I have decided to run for 45th Ward Alderman. As such, I’m asking you to reach out to your family, your friends, your neighbors and let them know there is a candidate running who is not a career politician and not part of the Chicago “Machine”. A candidate like you who is fed up with the status quo, and is ready and willing to do the right thing for our community. I am asking you to spread the word that a vote for me is a vote for lower taxes, increased public safety, and honesty and integrity in city government. I am asking to be your voice for our ward.
